Upper Case and Lower Case Letter Matching

Learning to match upper case and lower case letters can be a little tedious, so I try to create different types of works that practice the same skill to add a little variety to Little Angel's day.

I copy the letter cards onto different colored paper just to give a visual clue as to how much she has completed. She starts to get excited when she has the alphabet cards filled with the "blue" cards.

I also think she likes this one because the individual cards are small and they fit in her hands easily. After she is done, she just loves to stack the cards. This is available on my website http://montessoriforlearning.com/index.asp.

Lower Case - Upper Case Alphabet Match

Little Angel needed practice matching upper and lower case letters. I created some works for her. The one shown is a lower case mat where she matches upper case letter cards. I copy the upper case cards on a different color so there is a distinct difference between the mat and the letter cards. She also likes to see how much of the mat she has covered with the upper case letters. I also created an upper case mat where she matches lower case letters.
