More Color Word Fun

We use the color word flashcards in a variety of ways:

1) As shown in the picture - we lay the cards out on the workspace, then we match the correct color crayon to the color word

2) We play a Simon Says type of game - we spread the color word flash cards out on the floor and I give out commands such as "Simon Says to hop on yellow with your right foot, Touch red with your right pinky,

Simon says place your left elbow on gray." This game allows us to not only review color words, but body parts, following directions, difference between left and right, and releases some of our wonderful energy --- especially on rainy days!

3) I print off 2 copies of the flash cards and we play a concentration style game with the cards or a "go fish" game.

Learning Color Words

Here is a matching came with color cards and color word cards. My littlest angel is learning her color words with ease by practicing this work.
